Your customers’ cards show a “This rewards program has ended” state for 30 days, then the program is removed — no card just disappears on anyone mid-stamp. If we fail to deliver in the first 14 days, you get your money back. No conversation required.

Will my customers actually use it?

Yes. About 80% of US adults already use Apple Wallet or Google Wallet (eMarketer, 2024). Installing your card is one tap on “Add to Apple Wallet.” Your customer doesn’t have to learn anything new — they already know how.

Do my customers need to download an app?

Accepted Answer

No. The card lives in Apple Wallet (iPhone) or Google Wallet (Android) — the apps already on their phone for credit cards, transit passes, and boarding passes. Apple Wallet is live today; Android cards are built from the same design and we’re finishing setup with Google, so until that’s switched on the install page tells Android customers “coming soon” rather than showing a button that won’t work. An app would need a download, an account, and a reason to open it again — a wallet pass installs in seconds, never needs opening, and updates silently.

What does the experience feel like from the customer’s side?

They tap the QR, add the card to their wallet, done. The card lives next to their credit card. On Starter and up, a geofenced step can surface the card on their lock screen when they’re near your shop. When they earn a stamp or a reward, a wallet notification lands.

What if a customer changes phones?

Accepted Answer

The wallet pass restores automatically when they sign back into iCloud on the new device — and the same will be true of a Google account once Google Wallet is switched on. Their stamp count lives on our servers, so it’s right the moment the card reappears.

Will my customers feel surveilled or tracked?

No. We show you who came in and who didn’t. We don’t track them between visits, follow them around the internet, or build profiles we sell to anyone. Your dashboard reflects the relationship — nothing more.

What if my staff isn’t tech-savvy?

With Karam Tap, they don’t scan anything — customers self-serve. Without it, the staff scanner is a PWA that opens in any phone’s browser: point the camera at the customer’s card and it stamps, with a confirm step you can leave on or switch off. It queues offline and syncs when the signal comes back. Average training time under 5 minutes.

All POS integrations are currently marked “coming soon” — we’re actively pursuing certification with Square (Q3 2026), Toast (Q4 2026 after Partner Connect re-approval), Clover, MindBody, Boulevard, and Vagaro. Full POS auto-stamp at the register is a Franchise-tier feature once integrations go live. In the meantime Karam Kards runs alongside any POS — customers tap a Karam Tap station or your staff scan the card — and Growth and Franchise can push events into your other tools through our webhook API. A native Zapier app is coming soon.

Can I customize the card design?

Yes. Solo gives you 1 active design (with unlimited drafts), business name only, and your own background upload. Starter gives you 5 designs with full custom branding — logo, colors, background. Growth and Franchise give unlimited designs with no Karam Kards logo. A/B testing on text, background, and offer is coming soon, as is a stock image library — today’s built-in backgrounds are generated gradients.

How does multi-location work?

One card across every location. Per-location analytics and attribution: Karam Tap activity breaks out by store, and redemptions are attributed to the location of the customer’s last tap. Both of those live inside e-commerce stores. Karam Kards lives in your customer’s Apple Wallet — on their lock screen, in front of them every time they pay for anything. We were built for brick-and-mortar. Toast Loyalty has the opposite problem: it only works inside Toast restaurants, so changing POS takes your loyalty with it. We’re POS-agnostic — your loyalty survives any vendor change.

We replaced traditional “challenge cards” with challenge-style sequences at Growth+ — same behavioral hook, more flexible, works across any card type. How does the promo card actually turn into a stamp card?

This is our signature mechanic. Your customer redeems the promo. The same wallet pass transforms in place — the promo card becomes a stamp card with seed stamps already on it, as many as you set on the offer. Your customer never chose to “sign up.” They already did. Try it on your own phone.

How do you handle customer data?

Accepted Answer

The customer list belongs to you. Full stop. We don’t sell it, share it with marketing partners, or use it to train external models. Our pass service and background workers run in US regions (Chicago and Virginia). Phone numbers and emails are encrypted in a separate vault, everything else that identifies a person is fingerprinted, and one business can never see another business’s customers. Stripe handles payment data — we never see card numbers.

What happens to my data if I leave?

Export your customer list and engagement history at any time as a clean CSV. Your customers’ cards show a “this program has ended” state for 30 days. How long we keep your data after you cancel is set out in our Terms of Service.

What about my cardholders’ right to delete their data?

Accepted Answer

Every wallet pass has a “Manage my data” link on the back (behind the ⓘ icon). Cardholders can view, export, or delete their own data at any time — no account required, and a deletion has a 30-day window to undo it. It is built for the cardholder-initiated deletion rights in California’s CCPA/CPRA, Jordan’s Data Protection Law, and the US state privacy laws that require one. The unsubscribe page only pauses notifications: deleting data needs the link on the card, because holding the card is what proves it’s yours.

What countries do you serve?

Currently US and Jordan for v1. Anywhere Apple Wallet and Google Wallet work technically — but we only guarantee legal and tax compliance in the US and Jordan at launch. If you’re somewhere else, get in touch and we’ll tell you honestly whether we can support you yet.

How do I collect reviews without violating Google or Yelp?

Google banned incentivized reviews in April 2026. Yelp bans review solicitation entirely. Most loyalty platforms leave this compliance minefield up to you. We built the compliant version. Every tier gets 24/7 customer service with the same response SLA. Franchise plans get quarterly marketing strategy sessions with our team directly, plus custom SLA terms written into the contract. And cards already in your customers’ wallets stay put and keep showing their last stamp count — they live on the phone. Stamping needs our servers, so if we’re ever down it picks up the moment we’re back.

What if Apple or Google changes the Wallet system?

We build and run our own wallet pass service in-house specifically to handle this. If a change happens, we absorb it on our end without breaking your customers’ cards.

Can I have my Karam Tap arrive before I launch?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If you sign up on a Monday, your Karam Tap ships by Thursday and typically arrives within 3–5 business days. In the meantime, you’re live with QR codes from Day 1. When the station arrives, unbox it, plug it in, done. Your QR codes keep working forever as backup.
